Pacific Harbors Council will be sending two Scout Troops and one, 8 person Venturing Crew to the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. Youth Participant and Adult Leader registrations are now being accepted, see below for details and qualifications.

Step 3. Visit BSAJamboree.org register and create a profile.

Step 4. Download a "Request to Attend" form, and have your Scoutmaster approve it.

*A $200 deposit is required to register for the Jamboree. The full price of the Jamboree trip has not yet been finalized, but is expected to be a minimum of $2960**.
A payment plan has been established. Scouts, Venturers and Adult Leaders must meet the Jamboree Qualifications.

SCOUT PARTICIPANT QUALIFICATIONS

Scouts and team members must have a current BSA membership with a Boy Scout troop or Varsity Scout team.

Must be at least First Class Scouts.
Must be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the jamboree or an 11 year old that has graduated the 6th grade, but has not reached their 18th birthday by the last day of the jamboree.
Be approved by the unit leader and local council.
Participate in a pre-jamboree training experience.
Have filed a Jamboree Personal Health and Medical record with the council jamboree committee before the pre-jamboree training.
Submit all registration fees per the local council's payment schedule.

VENTURING PARTICIPANT QUALIFICATIONS

Crew members must have a current BSA membership with a Venturing crew.

Must have graduated the 8th grade or be at least 14 years of age by the first day of the jamboree, but have not reached their 21st birthday by the last day of the jamboree.
Participate in a pre-jamboree training experience.
Be approved by the unit leader and local council.
Have filed a Jamboree Personal Health and Medical record with the council jamboree committee before the pre-jamboree training.
Submit all registration fees per the local council's payment schedule.

How to register for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree:

Jamboree Fee Info

**A $200 deposit is required to register for the Jamboree. The full price of the Jamboree trip is expected to be approximately $2960.

The $2960 fee (including an estimated airfare cost and other travel related costs) includes the following: lodging, motor coach travel, all meals, all Troop and Patrol gear, a Tactical Backpack, and a jamboree duffle bag, and a trip to Cedar Point - the roller coaster capital of the world! Actual tour itinerary has yet to be finalized.

The Jamboree fee is estimated to be a minimum of $2960, however airfare and other related costs cannot be locked in at this time, and may change the total cost of the trip. Jamboree fees are non-refundable, and if you cannot attend the Jamboree due to unforeseen circumstances, you must find a replacement participant to take your place, and assume your fee obligations. This refund policy applies only to the 2013 National Jamboree and supersedes the normal policy.
